    congrats

To Jim and his family, just think the eastern "pot stirrer" will be making many trips to within 30 miles of the western "pot stirrer". Reminder to self, invest in the Bojangles nearest the Belmont exit.:cheers2:

    Congrats to Jim and Q

I know Jim will have a fine career at BA. He's a super young man and a first-class pitcher. Looking forward to following him at the next level. Q you raised a good one!

Belmont Abbey just finished their season with a 41 - 22 record including a win in the D2 regional tournament. I know the coaches are expecting several newcomers to come in and help raise the bar even higher! Glad to see more talent heading that way...

Congratulations to Jim and his family.

Jsut wanted to share a little about this fine young man. My son pitches for Fike and he and Jim have been friends and rivals for a few years. I think Jim has beaten Fike 4 out of 5 times over the past 3 years. The one time my son was the winning pitcher, Jim was on the short end of a 1-0 loss. He had just been diagosed with a "slap tear" in his labrum, but gutted it out for his team. Again, we were fortunate enough to win a close game and not sure what else Jim could have done to help his team win. I say all that to get to this, about an hour or so after the game, my son gets a call on his cell phone. It's Jim Leggett, congratulateing him on a great game. Folks, that's class. Jim Leggett is a class act. He's a winner, confident yet not cocky, and he's a warrior. I am proud to call Jim and his family my friends! Congratulations Jim! I wish you nothing but the best in all of your future endeavors.

I talked w/ Jim's Pop last year at the Con Carolina tournament in Wilson. If Jim's as quality of a man as his Dad, he's top drawer for certain. My only regret is that Ty has one more year until his church league softball 'career' begins.

Let me add: Kermit & Chris really are building a powerhouse. Ty started as a Freshman because BA was outfield poor. Those days are long gone, never again to return in this Staff's tenure. Mt Olive: they're coming after you!

    My Boy Skull

I have watched Jim Leggett grow from a gangly 13 year old into a state champion who put his team in front of himself just to gt the job done. Q, you know I love the boy to death and wish him and you nothing but the greatest of success. I will genuinely miss having him around. You have raised a top notch young man. Thank you for everything you have done for the program and for enriching my life personally...
