Rowan's scheduled game with Lexington-Davidson Post 8 was rained out Tuesday and has been rescheduled for July 2. Rowan is at High Point on Wednesday.

Taylorsville has had some problems this year with players from the high school not wanting to play, they have got alot of the guys back from last year who led ACHS to the 3rd round of the playoffs. Hall,Sherrill,James and wait till Harrington gets there. They had 22 hits against Hendersonville Sunday night and beat Shelby 2-0 last week. 3 young coaches that get everything they can get out of each player. Good Luck Post 170

    Kannapolis-17 over Statesville-16 (10 innings)

This game was truly unbelivable, it ranks right up there among biggest heartbreakers for the losing team, and biggest comebacks of all time for winning team.

Statesville was leading Kannapolis 15-5 with 2 outs in top/7th, Kann had nobody on base and just one out away from being mercy ruled.

Kannapolis started hitting and had 4 homeruns in final innings,,, ended up winning the game 17-16 in 10 innings.

Tough break for the Statesville boys, but great comeback for Kannapolis.
