    LHP from Rose Mark Wilder (14-0) commits to ECU on Thursday. Several offers and wants to be a Pirate.

    What a fine young man. Congrats Mark you had a great sr year , won a state title and now this.

    Congratulations to Mark Wilder. What an outstanding year culminating in a State Championship. It appears the pipline to ECU is alive and well as they pick up another top notch player.

    Congratulations to Mark, and his family. Mark really picked it up his senior year when his team needed him. ECU with yet another fine lefty.

    ECU got a good one - I was really impressed by how he competed and stay focused for the entire game in the state finals. When things got tight, he just bore down and played tough.

    ECU is building something over there. The Heels and the Wolfpack better look out...the Pirates are stealing some good ones.

    They are not stealing them

    they are keeping them. Mark is a die hard Pirate and I am so happy his dream to play at ECU has come true. I have known Mark since the 14u days with the Thunder. What a fine young man. He really developed over the course of his HS career. That is not only a credit to his strong work ethic but his High School Coaching staff as well. Good Luck Mark!
