    Bags win two

Dirtbags beat Diamond Skills at NCST behind Sean Pope and Chad Rothlin and they beat the East Cobb Indians behind Pratt Maynard and Parker Thomas. Wil Myers had a big 3 run blast in that game and Brian Goodwin had a couple of doubles and triples in the games. Oh by the way Goody nailed and Indian at the plate with a pea rod that still has Andy Partin clapping and that was hours ago. What an athlete!!

Carolina Cubs dominated both of their opponents in their two contests today. In the first game Lance Honeycutt (ECU) carved up the MD Select lineup. The Cubs were held scoreless for the first two innings, but exploded in the third for 9 runs capped off by a 3 run blast by Jeremy Dowdy (App State). Chris Diaz (Apex High School) went 3-3 in the contest, with the final score being 13-3 in favor of the Cubs. In Game 2, the Cubs got on the board early with a opposite field blast by Cameron Connor (NCSU). Southpaw Ryan Walker (UNCW) held the Elite BB lineup in check going five innings allowing no runs before the game was stopped due to a rain delay. The Cubs looked dominate in their performance today and will return to action tomorrow at 2:40.
