    SC Panthers Game 7 Suspended

Tonights Sweet 16 game versus the Dallas Yankees was suspended due to rain and lightening in the bottom of the second with the Panthers up 1-0.

Play will resume Friday morning at 9:00a

Postscript: Corey Roberts did pitch a 7 inning no hitter in the championship round last year versus the Texas Stix. The Panthers won 1-0 in extra innings on a squeeze bunt. We visited with the Stix between games this year and the pitcher he faced in that game will attend the University of Texas to pitch after his senior year.

Something doesn't make sense to me

Do you know why the 09? Panthers lost all 4 games at VTech this past weekend?

I thought it was 3, but missing several pitchers right now. In the last 2 games they actually threw 4 position players. We'll see what happens when everybodys back together. I know the Canes wore them out in one game.

    No arms

SCP 09s were missing 5 pitchers and Roberts was only available for a few innings after throwing the previous Wednesday at UGA. SCP did win the first game and was in the last game until the very end. That being said, their opponents played better baseball and had much better pitching.

    Megastar Elite 2010 vs Syracuse

Megastar Elite lose 6-0 on Thursday.
Shuffle the lineup some trying to get some shared time and spark the bats.

Olin Little pitched well, but Syracuse is a good hitting ball club.
Truett Langdon had a good double to left center.

Megastar Elite 2010 vs Orlando Scorpions

Played this team again and the Megastars won this time 10-9.

Tyler Alberts came back to the mound and looked very good getting the win. Johnathon Shelton struggled a bit in relief to begin with, but pulled it together very well and got the save.

    Bats finally came alive...
    Austin Majicottie 2/4 with 2 doubles and 3 rbi's.
    Alex Baker 2/4 with a double and 4 rbi's.
Byron Haag 1/4 with a rbi.
Matt Barrier 1/4 with a rbi.
Dakota Spiess 1/3 with a rbi.
    Justin Ide 1/3.
    Chad Walton 1/3.
    Joe Hager 1/3.

Question for SCP - Orlando Scorpions Hitter

    Hey SCP

We both played the Orlando Scorpions and they had a guy playing third base - number 25 - I believe his last name was Winger.

He hit two doubles and a triple off us the first time we played him, and we finally intentionally walked him the fourth time up as the situation allowed us to.

I heard he hit well against you guys as well - 2 doubles and 2 triples. Is this correct?

    Orlando Scorpions

    Kid named Winger. 4-4.

Two strike single to left - thrown out trying to stretch to a double.

First pitch single to left - thrown out going second to third on a back pick to first; 2-3-5.

    Full count single to left.

    Double to left.

Kid could hit; not so sure about his base running.
