The National Training Center (NTC) will be hosting the first PFX National Championips during the month of July. For ages 14, 16 and 18u's, this will be July 21-27 and for 10's and 12's, it will be July 28-Aug 3. We also have several other tournaments, including 4 college exposures, the PFX Tour Stop in November, and a Thanksgiving weekend tournament Nov 28-30.
We are a 4 field softball complex with a 5th field under construction. 1 of the fields is a Stadium field with dugouts and bathrooms. Permanent fences with distances of 206 to the corners and 215 to center. Each field has scoreboards with clocks for keeping game times, and the stadium field has a full 9 inning scoreboard with Matrix board. Visit our website at www.ntcsoftball.com for tournament listings and more information.

    Great Facility!!

DD's college team played here this past spring...this is a great facility and a nice location, close to the Orlando airport, but not too close, kind of in a semi rural area...lots of fruit trees!

Dr. Dot actually came down to the fields and went in the dugouts to talk to the teams that were there...she really impressed the girls! DD's team was struggling a little early in the season and the coach had relayed that to Dr. Dot...she went in the dugout and told the girls "you all have been playing this game since you were little girls, you know how to play and you have all the tools to win...go out there and knock the cover off the ball!"

They evidently listened to her...they won the game! Great atmosphere and the chance to meet a legend in the sport...priceless!!

    CougarCoach,

Thank you for the kind words about our complex. When your DD's teams was here, the complex was still actually being constructed as we played. We are close to being finished with the building of the complex, scoreboards were installed last week and will operational this week.

I am going to be reposting the PFX Amatuer National Championships to make it a Thurday to Sunday event. I know alot of parents are unable to get the whole week off for softball, so we are trying to help them out by making this a long weekend tournament.

We have a under roof batting tunnel that will be built in the next 3 weeks. This building will have a maintenance shed on one end, a 800 sf umpire/teaching academy room on the other and a 35 x 70 center peice that we will be able to use for 2 batting cages for pitching machines and 2 other sections that we will be able to use for soft toss and live pitching. This is going to enhance the training we do here and also it will look alot better then the batting cages that we have been using. I hope your DD's team returns this coming year. Dot is very pro active on getting teams here, and giving them an alternate place to play besides going to Disney, the Rebel Games, Cocoa and Ft. Myers. I do not know anything wrong with any of those sites, but teams after a few years just start looking for some place fresh. We are all about the girls, helping them with being the best that they can be, training, by practice, games, lectures and video analysis. We also have several other events going on in the fall of 2008, including 3 other College Exposure Tournaments.
