State Tourny Announcing

    I was wondering if anyone out there knew who I could talk to about maybe doing some PA announcing for the State Tournament, Regional or World Series this year. I did the PA for all of the games at last year's State Tournament in Garner.

    Thanks in advance for your help and good luck to everyone in this years playoff's.

    I tried...

    but Roy said he had no control over that. He said I would need to talk to someone who was putting the tournaments together.

    If anyone out there reads this....

    thevoice needs to be there. Send me a private message/e-mail if you need to... He was amazing last year for EVERY State Tournament game, every inning of every game.

    thevoice was great last year...........I really liked the trivia questions. This guy was as professional as I've seen.

    Hey as far as the SouthEastern Regionals and World Series, Coach Mike Grayson from Post82 might be a starting place, he can be found @ S&M Sporting Goods Shelby NC.....Not sure of the phone #.

    You also might try Jim Horn or Eddie Holbrook, they are two that were on the committee, to bring both events to Shelby. (Both probably in Shelby Directory)

    I'm not sure how all that type stuff is lined-up but I'd like to hear "thevoice" at either events.

    Probably depends on how the family pronounces it...

    thevoice did a very good job last summer at the state tourney by making sure each players name was pronounced correctly.

    Any one has gone to a high school baseball game knows, Chris Edwards is the best announcer/entertainer...bar none! It is a show worthy of most major league parks. Garner is very happy to call him one of our own!!!

    To each his own. Fortunately, I don't have to listen to it but once a season. Unfortunately, with our return to MOC this Tuesday, I'm going to get someone who is even more extreme than your idol.
