    Huntersville 9 Caldwell 6

    Huntersville completed the sweep on Caldwell County 9-6. Caldwell was up 6-1 through about 6 innings before their pitching fell apart and Huntersville began to hit the ball. Congrats to H'ville. They haven't seen the second round of the tournament very often. Next up is the winner of Newell/Henderson. Anyone have any info or scores on their series?

    Wow. After ONE round, Caldwell County is out in Area IV and Garner is out in Area I.... You don't say that very often.

    Union Co Beat Asheville both games of there DH 4-1 and 11-9 . win that series how play Shelby .

    Newell wins tonight but still trails 2-1 in the series headed back to Henderson Saturday night...

    Union County over Shelby 7-5 tonight....super exciting game......lots of hitting.......grand slams on both sides........Union County got out to a lead in the 1st and held it together for the win........
