William Henderson to UNCG!

    2009 RS Central OF, William Henderson has commited to UNC-Greensboro. In my opinion, UNCG is getting one of the best OF talents in Carolinas. Great Wheels, Great Arm, and Gap power bat. All this talent, and on top of that, one of the finest young men that I have had the pleasure of knowing.

    Had the privilege to coach Willie a little bit in a fall wood bat league, and he was dominating against outstanding competition. When this kid plays the game with a smile on his face, there are few out there better, anywhere!

    This young man will bring pride to the baseball field and campus at UNCG.

    Congratulations and best wishes to the entire Henderson family from all of us! Now Willie go out there and relax and have lots of fun! And Dave, can he start skipping the torturous speed training now!

    As a dad of an incoming freshman for the UNCG team, I want to be the first to welcome Mr. Henderson. They had a great recruiting year last year and it seems it's only getting better! Based on my impressions of the kids I've met so far, he'll enjoy playing with these guys!

    Congratulations to a classy young man and family! I agree, UNCG is getting an excellent outfielder with a plus arm and wheels!

    The Fish clan all wanted to say congratulations! By the way when asked by a coach this past weekend out of all the players on the summer team who was the one she would consider dating (when she is older of course) she said Will Henderson....

    Congrats to Will and Welcome to the Spartans!!!

    Having watched Will play for the past 2 years I have the upmost respect for his abilities, his character and his family. As a parent of of rising UNCG Spartan I welcome Will and his family.

    I did find it hard to believe he wants to put up with hearing me for 4 more years but I am honored to be able to cheer for him and sit with his mother.. And if his dad is nice to me, I might let him wear my summer hat!:hilljack:

    Again, congrats to Will, Dave, Lynn, Lauren and UNCG. Looking forward to seeing you and Wes on the same team for the next few years!
