    18U Needs Players

    The HP Heat 18U is looking for players to play on thier team in showcase tournaments through the summer and fall. We have 2 seniors leaving in August and we are looking to fill their spots. We have one tournament scheduled in July and August to finish the summer season, along with numerous tournaments in the fall.

    Shane and co. have really put together some strong teams,and his 18U has excelled this year to the top !! I'm sure he will have good coaching / staff to train this 12U / 14U to the next level !!

    The 16U Carolina Angels, based out of Fort Mill, SC, will be holding player evaluations on Sunday, July 20th. Please email [email protected] if you would like to particpate and need the detailed information. All positions will be considered.

    The Angels will be coached by Winthrop Asst. Coach Melissa Basillio and Former Winthrop player Janiva Willis.

    The Carolina Cardinals Red 14U, will have 3 players who are moving up, so we are looking for 3 dedicated players and families to join our team for 2008-09.

    We are looking for a pitcher, catcher, and utility/slapper. Please note that most of our players play more than one position, so we are looking for that type of player.

    In 2008-09, we will be a second year 14U team, and will play a very competitive schedule. Our scheule will include several 16U tournaments, the 14U Fireworks in CO., ASA National qualifiers, local ASA & NSA tournaments and all three of the Cardinal showcase tournaments.

    Our team practices in Clemmons and we have players from 5 area counties. We also have an indoor facility for our winter practice.

    if you are a player who understands the team concept (no selfish players or parents please) who wants to be challenged and wants to join the oldest and one of the best fastpitch organizations in NC, please get in touch for a tryout.

    listen ya'all, i've played against ben mckinney for many years as our daughters grew up. you probably would be hard pressed to find a better coach, a better father or a better father figure then ben. everyone is his daughter and they know it after meeting him for the first time, oh yeah, he knows the game better than most also.

    if you have the chance, play for him, you'll enjoy the experience.
