    Rocky Mount needed that win last night to rest their pitchers. If we are fortunate enough to get by Oxford, we'll need Moss again pretty quickly. Cary is in good shape with pitching. In fact, I don't see how they could get in a bind for pitching. They threw 5 guys last night, and still had a couple they could go to.

    we have a few '91 guys. no sense in them sitting the bench on the senior team if they're eligible for the junior team. we also started a couple rising sophomore's last night. bulk of the team are '10 guys from green hope hs and athens drive hs. cary high players do not try out for legion teams because of the summer league team, but i believe this is going to change next summer and cary high players will be back with the legion program.

    Anyone know whats going on downeast?

    Mooresville Jr. Legion will play in Kinston, NC next week.8 teams make up the field like in the CWS.... good luck to Mooresville, bring home a state championship!

    The Eastern Qualifier Tournament is this weekend in Cary, NC at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.

    Seeds for that aren't even final yet... so it will be several days before the western teams know who/when they are playing in Kinston.

    And by the way, if you've never been to Grainger Stadium in Kinston, you're in for a treat.
