I understand that the pairings and seeds are yet to be decided, but there has got to be some information regarding the Tournament in Kinston next week! I don't need to know who we play right now, but it sure would be nice to know where the games will be held and what time the games start on Wednesday. I would assume that the fields have been reserved and hotels identified and brackets formed (even if the blanks have to be filled in after the weekend). Seems that someone in authority would be able to say, "games start on Wednesday at 2 pm at Grainger Stadium with the Final Championship on Saturday at ______". Is there anyone who knows where this information can be found?

    Rocky Mount 12
    Oxford 2

Rocky Mount advances to Cary. Who else will be there besides the Bulls?

Not positive, but Oxford might even be advancing to Cary because of their record and winning %.

I imagine Wayne County will have a team, probably Morehead City, SW Brunswick...

JM15 I know you are the man to ask. Where can we get Jr Legion Eastern Qualifier brackets? Who are the teams?

    Rowan Jrs.

Will Johnson is a good young pitcher. Held North Davidson's varsity in check this year in a high school game. He along with Parker Gobble, Corbin Shive, Cody Laws, and Kent Basinger will give East Rowan one of the strongest pitching staffs in the state next year in high school. I'm kind of suprised he didn't play on the Rowan Sr. team this year.

Britt... when I hear something in stone I will pass it along. Still waiting for some teams to qualify I think.

1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5 in the morning session... then winners play winners and losers play losers during the afternoon session. just dont know who the 8 teams are yet.

Yeah I am also surprised because of the lack of pitching depth Rowan has. I would have to agree about East's loaded pitching next year, they will be stacked. When Parker Gobbel learns to trust his stuff, he is going to be fantastic.

    Parker Gobble

Glad to hear about Parker Gobble. He played Little League ball at Winston-Salem National Little League (before heading back to Rowan County) and he didn't appear to be setting the world on fire on the East Rowan JV team in 2007.
