Ivy covered dreams

On the way back from Boulder we came back through Chicago to visit the University of Chicago campus and were graciously given a tour by head softball coach Ruth Kmak (on the right). I just found this photograph that my wife took as we strolled amidst the many Gothic buildings on campus.

I hope the rest of TBR doesnt mind my sharing but an incredible amount of hard work and sacrifice, as many of you know from your own personal experience, has gone to into getting to this point. This photo captures so many aspects of the softball journey. Perhaps it may help some younger lady realize that anything truly is possible if you dream big enough and work hard to realize those dreams!
