I think I know this kid..

This actually looks like the kid that SoutherNo1 brought to my house this past Halloween. He said his name was something like Little Coach Diggs.

They also field a "Little Tarheel League" team. Another option is Dixie League.

Sounds like you are real unhappy with the situation but seem to have a lot of ideas on what to do to help out. Why not work within the system instead of trying to tear it down, your help may be needed. Build bridges not fences. It is political in any sport your kid is involved in, you may learn as much or more from a "bad" situation than a good one where everyone seems happy and content.

It sounds like they have tried to work within the system, to build bridges as you say.

Matthews (MARA) had one of oldest and most competitive Little League programs in this area, (Mecklenburg County) and just this year they took the whole program to Cal Ripken. Any one that knows this program knows how good it is and with the support of Ripken should continue to produce quality players. If you want to see a first class facility, go take a look. Mint Hill and Weddington (great facility as well) are very strong programs that are still Little League.

Coaches at MARA have to be approved by the board each and ever year to be able to Coach.

The Board of Directors at MARA are elected (every year or two) while the President cannot serve more than a two year term.

Mara is the strongest youth association in Charlotte (don't know about Weddington) followed by Old Providence and Park Sharon. I wonder how Steele Creek is doing?

One Put You must have heard something different then, it is easy to take your ball and walk away. Don't try to start something with me.
