Does anyone know of any available batting cages in Wilmington my son can use while at the beach. Preferrably where he can take live pitching.

Stadium Inc Baseball and Softball Batting Cages
5570 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403

not a bad place just down the street from College Blvd. easy to find.
I don't think they have live pitching tunnels however. This is all outside
    with machines.

There's a place called Batter's Up on Carolina Beach Rd. (910) 392-5524. I just looked and they have a website, www.batters-up.net

Surfside Beach or South Myrtle Beach

What about Surfside Beach or South Myrtle Beach? Does anyone know of any training facilities in that area? Indoor preferrably, I am too old to tolerate that heat.

    My son

used a rod on a boat or the surf. If he reallys wants to do some baseball. Just get a glove and throw with each other. Enjoy it. It is vacation.

I agree with EastofRaleigh,,, but if you need batting practice, here is a batting practice that Braves strongly recommends,,, and it would be appropriate while on vacation...
