    carolina wildcats went 1-1 in pool play

    lost tulsa oklahoma 4-3.....lost in the last inning beat bigi ca. 8-3...jordan scarboro 2 hrs!!! jess milligan and sam melton doing good in the circle

    beat the texas sting today in bracket play....5-3.....jess milligan great in the circle....we played great "d".....catlin sandy good day at the plate

    play san diego tommorrow at 6pm

    lots of college coaches!! anywhere from 10 to 18 at each of our games....nc state...unc....tenn.....fla....ala. auburn....lsu...gt....jmu...etc.....we are having a blast!!!

    College Coaches

    I hear this place is crawling with college coaches. This tournament may become (if it is not already) the biggest single recruiting venue aside from Boulder. ASA 18U Gold teams are loaded with college players and highly recruited kids, many of whom have already verballed thus making the 64 team Gold tournament less attractive from a recruiting perspective.

    WILDCATS LOST TO SAN CAL FIRECRACKERS..2-1
    GREAT GAME...BOTH PITCHERS 2 HITS EACH....SAM MELTON GREAT JOB FOR US 10 K'S....PRETTY COOL TO SEE LISA FERNANDEZ SITTING WITH OUR PARENTS IN THE STANDS!! STILL COACHES HERE!!

    PLAY AT 6PM TONIGHT....

    WILDCATS LOST TO THE TAMPA BAY ...7-0...

    ITS BEEN A GOOD EXPERIANCE THE LAST 6 DAYS....WE JUST RAN OUT OF PITCHING TODAY.......LOTS OF COACHES.....ANYBODY GETS A CHANCE TO GO TO 16 NATIONALS....YOU GOT TO GO!!

    Great job Wildcats!!

    I really thought the Wildcats had a chance to win it. We wish we coiuld have been there with you, but rules are rules. Great job at the Nationals and I am sure your players got a lot of looks from college coaches. I also believe the Wildcats could be one of the best 18U teams in NC next year and make it to the 18U Nationals.
