    The only thing I can tell you is that there was not a lot of scoring in the Area II final. Good pitching or weak bats?

    BTW...they are NOT affiliated with an American Legion Post...they are independent....

    I know Manny Beltran is a player, I think he is headed to A & T but not sure where thier other players are going. Does anyone know a break down of thier team.

    From what i've heard strong pitching and timely long balls get it done for Hope Mills.

    Most of Hope Mills players are from Methodist, that is the infield players except the third baseman plays with Lenior and the right fielder #2 Sandy has commited to UNCW. They have a pitcher Tray Britt LHP that locates real well and took the Lumberton High School team a couple of years back to the state finals and lost to Cauldwell. Not over powering but lives on the outside edge. Center fielder Beltran can hit and is very cocky and is going to attend NCA&T, I think.
