    Great turnout

I understand at least 32 College coaches attended the first day!

:N1yeeaah:I know the PINK team did super yesterday! 2009 catcher Ben Fish hit a blast over the left field fence that still hasen't came down yet. Man that team was loaded and killed the ball to all parts of the field. But not only was the bats hot the pitching was the same. Sean Pope 2 innings Chris Munnelly 2 innings Cody Penny 2 innings Nick McBRIDE 1 inning. This pitching staff only gave up 1 hit in seven innings WOW. And if you were trying to keep score it was team PINK alot and Team White well lets just say they had fun.:N1yeeaah:

Why would you match up that Pink roster with the White in a showcase??

I think the score was pink 8 white 0 but who was counting...right? Either way it was a "L" if your counting. Maybe next year they should invite the Diamond Devils as a "team" so the competition will be better for the bags....:12:

After watching the pink vs white (3rd game I saw) it was clear to me why some colleges don't recommend attending because of the format - and I quote "It is strickly a mid-week scrimmage for the Dirtbags".

Wonder why you wouldn't mix your teams with the other kids so they could face better pitching and hitting? Wonder why last year 60 colleges attended and this year only 30 or so which I think is pushing it a little??

IMO the cost to attend was extremely high considering the amount of exposure the kids received. A primary pitcher for example, pitched 1 inning Tuesday and 1 inning Wednesday. So that was $130/inning it cost the kid. WOW! It is obviously about the almighty $$ and not the kids.....

Radom draw??? I would let them pick my lottery numbers. I am surpised Pink did not play the Green opening day with the catered meal for the scouts. That would have been the deal.
