College coaches in attendance at NC A.L. tournaments

This thread could be used for state , regional, and WS play.

 

belmont abbey, unc charlotte, western carolina, unc wilmington, wilkes cc

 

I have seen numerous schools represented this week, had a chance to talk with at least 2 I know pretty well. The college coaches enjoy coming to an event like this because they may not be working hard for a specific recruit, but they see a lot of good baseball people and other coaches. As far as recruiting at a tourney like this, lets face it most of the better legion teams (this time of year) are sometimes filled with 19 yr olds who are already playing in college somewhere, and most HS seniors are already on or off people's radars,,, so college coaches attending this week may not be recruiting as much as they are out there simply to see how their signees (or own players) are doing, and to watch good baseball.

Look for even more schools from other states represented at the SE regional tourney and then the World Series in Shelby next few weeks.
