Mooresville will be heading up to Hibriten this Thursday....not real sure about what all teams will be there yet. I'll film the scrimmage for Mooresville. I'll also give you guys the 411 about what I saw from each team that takes the field.

....feel free to do the same in the upcoming week.

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
Any word on the East Burke/Shelby/Myers Park/South Point scrimmage or the TC Roberson/Crest scrimmage?

In the real game situations, EB beat MP 1-0, tied shelby 0-0,fumbled the ball on shelbys 3 yd line late in the scrimmage. lost to sp 1-0.
EB had very little trouble moving the ball on offense. Defense looked aggressive. Passing and running looked pretty good to me. JMO. Didn't really pay attention when the other teams were facing each other.

    Crest 3 TC 1

Good scrimage for both squads. I am always impressed with how well TC is coached and it was no different this time. TC came ready to hit. They brought a lot of heavy lumber which led to a lot of OOOOOH moments by the crowd. Crest showed the youth, but potential. After one of the OOOOH moments by TC (one of the TC players put Reggie on his back), Reggie took the ball on the next play and had an amazing run of around 60 yards. Wright and Chambers also had some good looking runs. The passing game for Crest was fair, but Reggie is still developing his touch on the short game. The Crest defense was fast, but had a problem with over pursuit of the ball. The good thing is that it can be corrected. Crest also had some unexpected guys step up and play well which is always good news.

The good thing is it gets easier this Friday as Crest takes on Gaffney at Byrnes SC. :55:

The best thing Tuesday was seeing football.

For any interested, the Border Showcase will be on teamline. The Crest broadcast crew is doing all three segments. You can listen on-line or by calling the 1-800 number.

Saw the Scrimmage tonight at Hibriten. Hibriten looked pretty good and Patton was effective as well. Did not get to see much of Mooresville but it's obvious what Alexander Central needs to work on, EVERYTHING !! It was an ugly performance for the Cougars. It's just a scrimmage so no big deal but the Cougars did not look good on either side of the ball.

Mooresville beat Patton 5-1, Hibriten 3-2 and then played AC in a full field scrimmage, beating them 3-0.
