Mr. Braves has asked me for an update and I wouldnt want him kicking me off so here we go. My next scan is Monday on the chest and abdomen areas along with a kidney check. I will have the usual blood work and a CT scan. I am taking steroids (among many other things) for swelling in the brain. I received 15 full brain radiation treatments which cost me my hair and some memory. Right now I have lost my license so arranging rides has become a priority. I am fortunate in that I have co workers and bosses who not only allow me to work but assist me. I feel like I am taking baby steps in getting better but the scans, etc. will tell me more. It will probably be another month before I get another MRI on my brain due to the swelling.

Now, with all that said, I feel so fortunate to have the friends I have and all the prayers and positive thoughts said for me. I have discussed the kids fall plans and right now our plans are for TB to continue with the Heat family. I hope to get top some of the games and see the super players, families, and coaches associated with the team. It has been a tough couple years but my plans are to continue until I cant. If you know me, you know how hard headed I can be some times.. I don't see that changing with a little sickness.
