    Charlotte Catholic, '09 LHP, Danny Vliet, has committed to UNC Asheville! Congratulations Danny, and the whole Vliet family!

    congratulations!

    according to the roster, at this time, he would be the ONLY LHP on the staff!
    This could be a real opportunity for him.
    I don't know the young man so could you share some of his background?

    I saw Vliet throw for the On Deck O's this summer. He is a smart pitcher, with good movement, shhould help out right away. Congrats to the On Deck program. They have now put over 100 players into college on scholarship!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Way to GO Danny....

    I remember the first time I saw Danny pitch. He was attending Metrolina Christian. Very impressive for a young pitcher. Danny, you have matured into an "Awesome" pitcher. I know mom & dad are very proud. Not just for the accomplishments on the field, but for the young man you have become.
    Good luck at UNC Asheville.
