And from what I have seen quite typical.

 

From what i have seen it looks like alot of teams pick up a pitcher to go to nationals. I think thats pretty much how the cardinals won a couple years back.

 

I didnt know that, as a travel coach i know our teams prides itself on playing with our own players as much as possible and not picking up players for each tournament. If i remember correctly the Cardinals won with Mendy McKenzie as thier ace, she was in college but she was a Cardinal player i beleive.

This is probably more likely a spot on their Fall Roster which is basicly a tryout over a few tournaments before they select the team for 2009.What age is this for 16,18,18A,18 Gold , I belive they have all age groups and as a earlier post they always bring in a powerful college pitcher in the playoffs and that one does the majority of the mound type

Not sure your point. We were congratulating her on going to play for the Shamrocks. It is the 18 Gold team. All Gold teams add depth to there roster for qualifiers. It is not always the pitcher that needs upgrading. Morgan will probably get to pitch in all the showcases. Probably won't in the qualifiers or Nationals but she is young. Her day will come. It is extremely tough to qualify and maybe this is why they have gone to the gold nationals for the at least the past nine years.

Silly me...... thought this tread was about congratulations!! Glad to hear Jordyn and Kalie will be joining Might Mo with the Shamrocks. What a fine group of dedicated players.

Morgan is a great kid with lots of talent. Congrats to Kalie and Jordan as well. All three have a depth of talent and will do great things for the shamrocks. Going to miss watching them play !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure why anyone would want to turn a great accomplishment for Morgan into negative remarks about playing time and C. Cab. This thread should have been shut down a while ago once it went negative. I am sure no one else would appreciate these comments made about their own kids yet they want to cast the first stone. Many people on this forum need to learn the old saying " if you havnt anything nice to say dont say anything at all "
