Never got it back, could have used your pa voice to announce the live stats to the room. As the legend marvin said "we lost the voice". No audio available today will have to watch the live stats.

Bottom of 6 sounded like the inning from hell. Six runs on three hits, four errors. Pround of the guys to battle back and get the tie run on base in the 7th. They get tomm. off and will play Missouri on Tuesday.

Greenville fell to Missouri today 8-6. They gave up 4 in the first and 4 in the second on four errors to fall down 8-1. Parker Jerrigan came in releif and shut the door. Greenville once again battled back and had the tieing run at the plate in the 7th. They fall to 1-2 in pool play. They face 3-0 Middle Atlantic tomm. at 5:30 Wed. Greenville still has several possible chances to advance to tournament play. (1) A win and a Cal. loss they advance. (2) A win and a Cal. Win they lose b/c of head to head (3) a loss and a Cal. loss would set up a three way tie (go to runs allowed).

Greenville 13's beat previous unbeaten Colleg Point NY 13-7 in the Babe Ruth World Series. Greenville fell behind 3-0 after 1, after making two errors. They tied it 3-3 after three innings. In the top of the 5th Greenville scored 10 runs on 7 hits, 4 BB's, and 2 HBP's. It appears that NY was trying to save some pitching. NY then hit a 2 run hr in the bott of the 5th and added another in the 6th. For Greenville Gray Dixon go the win on the mound, while at the plate Thomas Conlin was 3-5 with 2 2B's 3 rbi's, S. Becker was 2-3 with a 3B 2 rbi's and Parker Jerigen was 2-3 2 rbi's. Greenville is 2-2 in pool play and must hope for a Cal. loss in the final poor play game to advance to the tournament round.

    Tip O' Da Hat....

Cali win late last night sends Greenville home. A good run by a good group. They had to battle back at every level they played and demonstrated a lot of heart in doing so, to make it as far as they did. I have to give a big tip of the hat to Jason Woods and Taylor Gagnon as coaches who got all they could out of this group of kids. Am as proud of them as such young coaches for giving back as I am of the kids themselves.

Greenville had a nice run this year with the 13s 14s and 15s as well as the Little League guys.

But not only Greenville! Saw some great stuff out of teams from the East at all levels of play and some good looking kids that are going to continue to grow and stand out. It just goes to prove that baseball IS alive and well in Eastern Part of our great state! There is a lot of pride in baseball in the East and we have a lot to be proud of!

Look forward to getting the chance to hear from the coaches all the great stories from their world series tournament run.. I am sure there are more than a few. Some I have heard already are classics!
