NW4-A Predictions

Cougar, I just dont see ACHS getting 4 wins....3-3 maybe... (W- McDowell, SC and Freedom).....I think they may go 2 and 4.

I know a lot of folks are high on them, but the QB is a sophmore and unproven and I hear they have a WR that is pretty fast....but I dont know that the overall scoring is there.

I do think the D and OLine will be much improved from last year, but I don't see them producing many pts on the offensive end....

though sometimes I am pessimistic just b/c i dont want to be over confident.

You may be right the Cougars may go 3-3 or 2-4, 4-2 was just my prediction! I believe we have a good "chance"of beating Watagua, Who knows? We may lose to McDowell and South Caldwell! Nobody has mentioned our linebackers and I believe they are the most improved part of the team. I guess we will have to play the games and find out.

 

I wouldn't under estimate Kinnaird. The Kid has a great arm, knows the game and the system very well. Cougars won't rely on him as much as they did Russell. They're actually going to have a running game this year.

 

Hickory Daily Record has a small write up on Freedom

in today's paper. Coach Watson said less then 40 players out for varsity, with seven returning starters on defense. Lost entire offensive line to graduation, said many players may have to play both ways. Sounds like not much experience on offensive side of the ball. Will have to stay away from injuries. Maybe not as improved as I thought they'd be, on the offensive side anyway. Huge opening home game against Patton on the 22nd, if they lose that one, pressure will really be on Coach Watson and the Pats!

I could see ac going 4-2 3-3 prlly more likely but dales right kyle want be relyed on to carry the load we'll run the ball atleast 50% of the game and yea the o-line is much improved from last year i thnk we have the best linebackers in the league an jdock#24 might be the best db in the league.

as long as they play to there potential theyll be fine.i could see 2nd round of the playoffs.

I don't know a lot about any team but Watauga but now that Eric B. is gone they could move down fast if they don't find a new way to put up some points!
