    Mine is good news, bad news

    The bad news is we miss him terribly. Our oldest son left 7 years ago and this one is our last. I thought I was going to go :EMOSTdungHL1: when he left. I miss the school activities (we were very involved), the fall practices/games/tournaments, the social aspect that baseball brings for the parents, what new girl friend he had this week..... AND IT'S ONLY BEEN A WEEK!!

    The good news is two part. We know he is happy fulfilling his dream of playing ball at the next level (UNCG). He is meeting a new bunch of good kids that will be his friends for life. Hell, he even studied tonight!!!

    The second part of the good news...... my son is a very picky eater. Of course my wife cooked to his likes and dislikes. Now that he has been gone for just one week.......I have had three entirely new meals cooked for me this week. I am now my wife's guinea pig for new recipes. I LOVE IT. I may gain 10 more pounds but what's 10 more at this stage.

    eagles1313 i can see why she was ready for you to go but Ryan?????? ha ha. hope all is well for your family. a great one it is... seems like last year when you came bouncing in to the wake camp at the age of about 5

    You're right...she was glad to get me out of the house...but that's her baby up in the mountains now haha. Everyone is doing fine and I hope you and your family are doing well too!

    That must be a later dated picture. I have found solid evidence that this is Braves and an old friend. He still does today what he did then. Still does not know if he is coming or going (note the tag in the front). Think it says Braves on it. And the black socks.
