The offense needs some work and the defense let up alittle which let asheville back into the game. Probably a little bit of over-confidence after jumping ahead 17-0

The game was ultimately won the rocket defenses ability to create turnovers. We had 2 int's, 2 fumble recoveries, and a blocked punt for a touchdown.

    Thanks.

I know that the offense isn't as strong as the "D", did they any prolonged drives?

Thanks, MG. Titans were down 21 - 7 at one time. I know that the competition hasn't been the best in the first 2 weeks for McDowell, but these wins are HUGE for the kids and for coach Gowan. They just needed a little bit of confidence and for something good to happen to them, and I think they got it this week. A couple of clutch 4th down plays on the tying drive; missed field goal by a very good Mitchell kicker; then a make by McDowell's kicker to win it. McSwain (RB) went over 200 yards on around 30 carries. Arrowood hit Amerto with the tying score with around 40 seconds left. Man, congratulations to the Titans. Competition steps up a little next week when East Rutherford comes to Marion. Hoping for a big crowd next week in Titan Stadium for the home opener.

I was listening to the game through online radio so im not sure what our longest drive was, but I was impressed with paul wright and the passing game

There is plenty of postives to build on, and if these guys keep working hard and getting better, the sky is the limit.
