Just wandering what everyones reserved seating is costing this year, EB went up to $40.00 for 5 games this year, this doesn't include reserved parking. I think it's a little high for a regular game. They are telling us everybody went up. Thanks. :teeth:

Reserve seating? As far as I know we don't have any reserved seating. Pretty much everybody who are regulars here find their usual spot. Does the reserve seating at East Burke involve anything with the consession stands?

One thing I have noticed was the increase in ticket prices. Our two games so far (at Enka, at Mitchell) they charged 6 dollars to get in. I didn't think much about it on the 1st game because it was endownment week and the NCHSAA needs that money (lol.) But they charged the same at Mitchell this past friday. I had not read anything recently on the NCHSAA site about a change in the admission.

The reserved seating at EB is a section on the 50 yard line with numbers to the seat you buy. Although I choose not to sit there its good for those who do not want to get there early. As most of you know the place is full and seats are hard to come by; depending on the game as many as 15,000 are looking. I'm interested to see the numbers next year when EB is a true 2A school; this year our numbers are up from that because of the seniors staying here and not going to the new school. Got off subject but to me not worth paying; however reserved parking is well worth it to me.

its a way to raise more funds for the boosters. some school boosters clubs do alot for athletics and this is a way of saying thanks for throwing in a few extra dollars.

Newton-Conover has reserved seating in front of the press box surrounded by a red fence. Each year more and more buy these "season passes" to be sure they get a seat. We were something like 9-5 (6-2 in CVAC) last season and it was standing room only for a 2A school. Our new visitor side is way better than the home side and many sit over there for better seats. It cost $4 to enter the JV game last night.

At South Point, it was 20 last year and was 20 again this year. Does NOT include parking though.

Thanks to everyone that replied. I just don't think it is worth $8.00 a game. I should have paid more attention when I bought it. It won't happen again.

To get reserved seating you have to be a member of the Century Club, but that pass is good for all sports at Crest, 110 dollars this year I think. It also gets you reserved parking for football.

A lot of conferences voted this year to raise ticket prices to help offset the cost of gas. The Big South voted against the dollar increase but others voted for it.
