    He is a class act. Great program, beautiful campus, outstanding facilities, both DD's enjoyed the camp. We will return this winter and next summer.

    Stanly Community College

    Stanly Community College in conjunction with North Stanly Dixie Softball is holding a camp. This camp will be for 4 days, July 22nd thru July 25th, from 4:30 till 8:00 PM each day. It will be held at North Stanly High School on US Hwy 52 North. In addition to teaching softball skills and making it a fun thing for the kids, it will serve as a fund raiser for SCC. North Stanly will have a number of people who will help out with various things - for example they have set it up for everyone to be fed supper each day, having t-shirts done, etc.
    If you are associated with any teams, or know any younger kids who might benefit from this camp, please let them know about it. The contact person is Sarah Rogers-Griffin at [email protected]. The price is $80.00 each for all four days with dinner included. Discounts are available for more than one child and teams.

    Slapping has become such a big part of our game at this time.Also all phases of the Short Game. On August 4th from 9:00 until 3:00 there will be a Clinic that will cover from the beginner to the advanced on the Slapping Game. Location North Davidson Senior High School Softball field.There will be a progression taught to enable everyone to improve on the phase they need.Just call Mike Lambros at 336-764-8229 or e-mail at [email protected]

    Upstate is having TEAM CLINICS over the next several months. It is a

    good way for your team to recieve instruction on team defense, priorities,

    backups, zones, strategies as well as hitting and fielding. This is open to all

    high school and travelball teams. As a head coach you can make the
