    Forestview HS, gastonia, has lost their head coach of several years, didnt come back from indiana or some such foreign country.....

    east gaston - gaston county has a new coach this year, hasnt been announced, but i believe its one of the football asst coaches with coaching experience from florida.

    Randleman will be having a new coaching staff this year also as the head coach became the AD at a local middle school and from what I hear, the assistant is not interested in the job.

    Triton Names New Coach

    Triton has named Tara Redmond as head coach. The Daily record has an article at www.mydailyrecord.com local sports.

    Congratulations to Triton. I saw them at the 3A States last year, and it seems they have an interest in softball. Most of our schools around here show no interest. We've got kids with talent who don't even really get to practice. It's always the same old song and dance. Football, football, football. Thank goodness for travel ball!
