    Congrats to the Charlotte Blaze Black for winning the B bracket 16u in Charlotte this weekend. The A and B brackets were separated by one run. Lots of good teams in both. The Blaze defeated solid Bombs and Mudslingers teams to win their bracket. Also, Congrats to the Storm for their hard fought games across the park. Ms. Harkey is awesome!

    Carolina Angels played in the A division -- are the other 16U results listed above correct?

    no problem at all -- we were just trying to find the results on the NSA website and didn't have any luck. It was a great weekend for softball with lots of exciting games.

    Question for the Bombs

    I was wondering about the status of the young lady injured at the play at the plate for the Bombs vs the Mudslingers. Is she ok? I caught the end of the play and did not see the whole thing. I do know the Bombs player was injured somehow and needed attention in the dugout. I hope she is ok.

    I heard also that the Mudslingers had a few injuries during the weekend. Great job by those ladies for playing hard without a lot of practice time. Ms. Brown played very well along with others.

    I was very impressed with defense of Mudslingers(16u) in Charlotte tourney. Turned several very nice double plays looked strong up the middle. Did make a few errors but saw a lot of potential. Catcher did a nice job also, never knew she was a switch hitter.

    I'm def. not a switch hitter. Thats the first time I've hit left handed in my life. But I couldn't hit yalls pitcher right handed so I decided to try something new. But yall played great this weekend and had a great pitcher. She had alot of heat and some nasty stuff to go along with it. O and alot of power @ the plate. Congrats.

    I'm not who you think i am. I am not with either team, only a softball fan who is always looking for talent. Think you may have potential if only you can channel your energy into on field performance and not anger. Keep up the hard work. Hope to see more of you soon.
