Carolina Cardinals 14U Win 16/18U Statesville Shootout

    Congrats to the Carolina Cardinals 14U for winning the 16/18U Statesville Shootout! I couldn't be prouder of these young ladies. They went 5-0, and in 5 games only gave up 8 runs, scored 26 and struck out 45!

    Most of this team are first year 14U age or younger as 3 are second year 14U and 4 could still be playing 12U. This young team has worked so hard and I know more great things are to come.

    Very Good Team!

    Was there on Saturday watching the 8u girls play and caught 2 of the Cardinals games. To be so young, this team is solid in all areas of the game. They do things many high school teams can't do.

    Keep an eye on this group.

    Pilot Mountain was rained out I heard. Anymore tournaments planned?
