    3A NPC West

    East Rowan will be strong.

Mooresville will be extremely tough again. Only lost 3-4 seniors from last years class of 4th rounders. Lost to East Rowan in 4th round. Mooresville pitching takes a hit but strong JV squad is coming up and their batting lineup will be huge with 7 in the order capable of putting it out of the park

West Rowan will be strong - Lots of transfers in. Randy Shepher, transfers from Carson (App State signee), Jon Crucitte transfers in from Mooresville (great athlete).

Lake Norman will be strong. Lamascola (Catawba) awesome pitcher probably will be one of the best in conference.

    Rest of conference toss up.

NPC conference will be probably one of the toughest 3A conferences this year again. I believe we had 4 out of final 8 last year in playoffs.

East Rowan,Mooresville,WestRowan, LakeNorman, I think will be the 4 teams in the hunt for NPC crown. All teams lost some studs but the 2009 & 2010 class is full of them. Pitching will be the key to all these teams above. If Mooresville can tighten down on defense they will be tough this year because they will hit the long ball. East Rowan is one of the best coached teams in the state. They just do not beat themselfs and when you play them at home they get alot of support from fans and others.

He plays for Watauga High. This summer and fall he has been very fortunate to have helped out five different teams. He’s had an absolute blast and got to meet so many players. It’s been a lot of fun!

You guys are right about Robinson, ridiculous is a strong word for a quality program, but Central has a chance to struggle

Maybe we'll meet sometime. We will be in Boone for a visit at the App/Wofford game next Friday. Enjoyed playing at Watauga. Nice field and school. Wish i could find a reason to live up there.

Somewhat true on Ragsdale Coach. Very young last year. All the boys know it's time to live up to their potential.

You guys will have a great time. It’s going to be cool and a little rainy but the game should be great! Side note, Wofford Fullback #7 is a local hero, Eric Breitenstein that was not heavily recruited by App. The locals still want App to win but would love to see Eric shove about 300 yards down their throats. We hope you enjoy your visit!!!! Now back to baseball.

WE met him 2 weeks ago. We were down for a visit at Wofford and met him. I remember him being from Watauga. I understand about App recruiting. They recruit in-state a little differently than some.

That extra year experience and hopefully maturity can make a big difference.

I hear they are going to have a pretty good scoreboard operator and announcer too this year :59:
