That win over Alex Central last week woke the Patriots up. Watauga has dropped off a cliff.

I am assuming these are Varsity scores from games played on Thursday, instead of Friday, due to Halloween?

    VI,

Those varsity games were played Thursday because of the Wofford/Appalachian State game in Boone tonight.

I can understand the Watauga game, but Hibriten in Lenoir, haven't figured that one out yet.

Hibriten was playing tonight to clear out 321 for the traffic for the ASU game. At least that sounds good.

    thanks guys,

    Mooresville 44
    W. Iredell 14

Mooresville fell behind 7-0, just 20 seconds into the game, thanks to the efforts of W. Iredell QB (and Shrine Bowl selection) Quan Rucker.

But the Blue Devils came right back and outscored the Warriors 44-7 the rest of the way. Mooresville was led by Jjshaun Pinkston who had nearly 300 yds. on the ground. That effort pushed him over the 2,000 yd. mark for the season. WOW!

Mooresville heads to W. Rowan for the final game of the regular season, and a shot at the NPC 3A title, next Friday night.

    GO BIG BLUE!

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
    AC Reynolds 37
    South Caldwell 0

Great job by the Rockets Defense holding South to 31 yards rushing, and 83 total yards of offense. Rocket offense rolls up 201 rushing, and 204 passing.

    Scores from CVAC

    Fred T Foard 35
    Bandys 28

    Hickory 35
    W. Caldwell 20

    Maiden 35
    St. Stephens 30

    *Newton-Conover 47
    Bunker Hill 0

*Starters for NC pulled after 1st qtr.

This sets up the ultimate showdowns next week as Newton-Conover, Hibriten, and Foard ALL need to win to claim a share of the title. NC is at home vs Bandys, FTF plays St. Stephens, and I'm not sure who Hibriten has.
