On the eve of the early signing period, the only thing I can say is GOD BLESS US ALL! How long have we waited, how many miles have we traveled, how many concession stand hot dogs have we eaten, how many hotel keys do you have in your top drawer, how many pictures..... and now we agree to turn our daughter over to somebody else for the next 4 years.

Man, what a feeling, I have not been this scared since the day I proposed to my wife.

When you hit the bed tonight, and you say a prayer for your lil DD, add all the other parents in there too.

"May God watch over all of them and keep them safe and out of harm's way!"

    Angels going to college

    Thanks for asking.

My daughter, Katie signed with Georgia yesterday. It was a wonderful day and she is excited about playing in the SEC.

My 1st baseman Tabatha Douberley signed with Georgia Southern.
My Catcher/Utl player Erin Wilson signed with Georgia Perimeter.
My left handed pitcher Brandi Brewer signed with Georgia Perimeter.
My catcher/corner Kali Carswell signed with Georgia College and State University.
My utility player/catcher Camille Hill signed with Elon College.

I have 2 more to place and then my 2009 work will be done. It was a fun day to be the Head Angel.

    Nice

Great work Ty! Your daughter is pretty darn good! Took one out on us! You have some quality players that will do well in school. I only had three 2009, two are signed and the third is milling over a couple offers! Have a great holiday season.:bigok:

    Signing is signing

Thanks for the kind words about KT. Sometimes she is a lot of fun to coach (ha, ha). That game it was fun.

And I want to make sure that any parent or player who reads this who has a 2009 player, to not fret! It is not over until it is over. There is a place for everyone, just in some cases they have not been found yet. I had one girl sign last year in June, 3 weeks after graduation. I had 6 girls come to the Southern Star last January with no offers and left with offers and visits. Three of those were to D1. So keep on praying, keep on playing and never give up and never give in.
