    As good and as young as he is, it was impossible for me to believe he'd be satisfied just being a HS counselor. After taking some time away from the ballfield, maybe everyone in the family felt something was odd....missing.

    Hickory has become home for the Pait family. The startup opportunity at CVCC must be - at the very least - interesting. He is very well thought off in these parts and will do a great job. He needs facilities, but I think the school is committed.

    Coach Pait is one of my favorite people. No one was upset more than I when he left L-R. I'm glad he is back doing what he does best. I miss the guy and his family. They are tops!!!

    It just seems weird going from L-R to CVCC...but I understand. Thanks for the feedback

    Ditto Braves was more than happy to host one of our WEST Senior Games tryouts and practice! I know MacCurdy enjoyed playing for him as well! If you are out there (both) hello and godspeed in your endeavors!

    To Coach Pait, his family, and CVCC. I think this is a great fit, and I am excited about a new era of baseball in this area...Buccaneer Baseball!
