Kyle Brandenburg of Ragsdale commits to Campbell

Middle infielder/Pitcher Kyle Brandenburg of Ragsdale commits to Campbell University. Kyle is a '09 graduate. Plays SS and pitches some for Ragsdale. Switch-hitter with speed. Throws submarine style with great off-speed pitches. Kyle played this summer and fall for The Heat '09. Kyle is a wonderful young man. 1st class person. Our community is very happy for him.

Rupert, I don't know your son but Kyle and family say he is great. My son is with the Heat 10 but we have never met. Heard many good things. Good luck.

Congratulations to Kyle and his whole family. Kyle is very deserving of this and the Camels will be getting a workhorse of a player. Kyle is never satisfied with his game and is the type kid that calls around until he finds someone to work out with or he simply goes alone and works on his game. With work ethics like that, he is sure to succeed and very deserving of all the accolades he receives.

Outstanding news. Kyle is a solid player and great kid, great parents, etc.

I love seeing that submarine pitch when he relieves. I'll never forget though how a four out, sporadic reliever started the Mid Piedmint championship game at SE Guilford and shut down the Falcons pitching a complete game.

Now that's a ball player.
