If my calculations are correct we have reached 2,000.00 for the "Will Fund".
I sent in my donation this afternoon. I want to thank each and everyone of you.

I am praying that Will is in uniform and ready to go come opening day for his high school team. I plan on being in Boone for that opening home game this season. And I hope many of you will join me as well. Thanks again!

 

I just wanted everyone to know that I put my check in the mail of $50.00 to the Will fund and God gave me more back 5 minuts after. I went to the store near the post office to get a snack and also decided to buy a scratch off ticket and won $75.00. God new I did not have $50.00 to send but told me to send it anyway. This is why I know he will provide for Will.

 

Here is an update:

Just letting you know im on radiation day 4 out of 5. Things are looking great here, im ready to get home and get back to work as far as baseball. Im feeling much stronger and learning to cope with this pain. I should get home wednesday night, and I have practice thursday. There is no reason I shouldnt be there and i expect to throw a small bullpen with our pitching coach involved to see where we are and need to be. I will start lifting again when i get home wednesday night. Ill be ready if needed to pitch Opening day. Im hoping to see alot of people up at our opening home game. Im keeping up with everything on here and I thank everyone for what they have done, it has truly been amazing and brought a tear to my eye as i read it. I appreciate all the kind words and donations, it will help my family tremendously. Thank you for everything everyone has done.

First of all Freddy that is exactly how the Lord works. Its easy to give when you have it. It takes faith to give what you do not have to give. The Lord takes care of those you live by faith. I dont have the money to give like I want to give. I dont have the time to give it like I give it either. But one thing I have learned is you dont start really living until you give to others.

I wish every player and every parent could read what Will wrote in that note to you Braves. That says it all. He is not complaining. He is not using it as an excuse to not work. Even though who could blame him if he did? I wish I had half of what Will has. What an amazing person.
