    Lauren Duncan of Northwest Cabarrus High School and Queen City Rocker Shortstop has verbally committed to Coach Dennis Shores of Guilford College. All those early mornings and late evenings at the park have paid off and Lauren is realizing her dream of playing college softball! Lauren had several academic and athletic scholarship opportunities and has chosen a school that will best help her achieve her education and softball goals. Her parents, Ken and Tina, little sister Brittany and the QCR family are extremely proud.
    Way to go Lauren!!

    Lauren,

    Congratulations on achieving one of many tremendous accomplishments I’m sure you will enjoy in your lifetime! Mom, Brittany and I are so proud! We wouldn’t trade all of those cold spring mornings and hot August afternoons for anything. We’re looking forward to watching you continue to compete at the next level, and hope to stay connected with all of our great softball friends and family.
