    Shoot missed Blue Ridge i think Wake tech is fall 09 and a couple other schools are adding in the future

    I think you're right about Wake Tech. They are brand new so they'll take their lumps. Blue Ridge has a new coach and a handful of solid new recruits. They should surprise some folks this year.

    Also Catawba Valley Comm. Coll. is adding baseball and will play spring 2010 - coached by former Lenoir-Rhyne coach Frank Pait. I'm sure that's been said on the board, but I havn't read it and I thought I'd mention it in this thread.

    it really is great that the schools in the Community College system are adding more athletics, especially baseball. This gives kids that are "late-bloomers" and ones that may have not been, let's say "focused" on their academics in HS an opportunity to keep playing. They can then raise their stock and possibly move to a four year school after a season or two. The end result is more kids playing and more kids getting a college education... that's a win/win!
