It is going to be cold on Sat. and although we thought about doing it inside, we're going to brave the elements and stay outside. I want to be very fair to everyone coming, because I know this could be the last hope for a few kids at playing travel ball in some very, very good events this summer. I've talked to about 30 kids and parents, and just email or pm me if you need anymore details, or if you're inquiring for the first time. We will have a kerosene blower out there for some if you need it.

You know what, PD, I understood every bit of that - without translator. Must mean I've been on here way, way too long.

Good luck with the tryouts, Ray. Nice to have 30 to choose from, but no doubt there will be some disappointed guys when they don't get the call. Hope they all know to hustle, hustle, hustle and run like a wild dog.

I apologize to everyone, but after being outside this morning in the 37 degree weather,I'm going to have to have the tryouts inside at our baseball warehouse. I'll put directions to on our website www.lakemonstersbaseball.com tonight. I feel bad about this, but I'd feel worse if just 1 kid over did it trying to impress me in the freezing temps and injured himself just before the high school season. I will not leave until everyone is satisfied with their tryout. I thought about next weekend, but we're really starting to get close now to the start of the season, and basically, it will still probably be cold and other people, than myself, have things to do. I will email everyone tonight that I've talked to, to tell them what's going on, and if you're reading this for first time, please contact me. Thanks for everyone's support and help.

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday. I apologize for not being able to get outside. We had 33 kids with the majority coming from the 2011 class. We saw speeds on the Jugs from 69-87. All in all, it was a good day to be inside instead of in the 35 degree wind. Thanks again.
