idk why when mcdowell or freedom or any of the main basketball schools in the past when they are winning everyones like oh freedoms pretty good this year but when watauga is winning games we are the spoilers! watauga has won the games they should have won. beating east burke and alexander central back to back should tell you that that they are not the spoilers.

big bill, no offense but watauga shouldn't have beat alexander. ac is a much better team, they just haven't been showing it lately. I expect a much different result the next time around

no offense jmundy but watauga beat alexander on the road in a packed gym good game or not watauga still beat them and watauga has lost one home game this year which was the very first one. newell took hardgraves out of his game and im expecting him to do the same at home.

i coached all the sophs on watauga in aau the last 5 years, these kids can ball and with each game they grow up,just keep on thinking that watauga just gets lucky and we will keep on playing hard and winning, newell is playing as good as anyone in the conference and is a great leader on this team.we got all but east burke at home from now on so you got to like watauga chances in the conference.

ok first of all i didnt say they get lucky. but alexander played HORRIBLE and still was a terrible call away from forcing overtime. and i dont even know who newell is. but the only team i can see beating freedom is ac. and if that happens they still only have 1 loss in conference. i just dont see how they wont win conference. if ac plays like they did earlier in the season, they'll finish in 2nd place.

ok you keep thinking that and we will have this conversation at the end of the season. but if you dont know newell then you should look up some stats from him. watauga is a very young team too and if this wasnt the last year they should be the team to beat next year.
