It was in the 30's...our starters played a total of less than 2 minutes...we played a total of 15 players tonight.

WHS had it cut to 10 right before Ali Ford hit a 3 from half court as time expired in the 3rd. WHS should lift their heads up high. They battled.

I think the McDowell score was something like 53 to 14. McDowell also moved up some of the JV players.

This was a good game. EB did a good job in the 1st half scoring by getting the ball to players that were freed up by good low post screens. SC adjusted and turned up the pressure on 'D'. Foul trouble cost EB because of the lack of depth. Both teams hit the Double bonus in the 1st half. EB did not shot Free throws well which cost them in the end. The 2nd half foul trouble was opposite for EB they needed to foul to send SC to the line but EB had 2 team fouls and SC had 3. This was tough because the players that she needed on the floor had at least 3 or 4 fouls. SC finally did what they needed to do to put the game away, hit free throws. When M. Hall hit her last throws someone said those were big and they proved to be becuse P. Moore hit a great shot at the end of the game for 3 points. If Hall had missed one it would have meant overtime.

    McDowell-Watauga time change

Heads up to the McDowell fan base, if you're going to Boone tonight they have moved up the varsity starting times to 5:15 pm due to any possible weather issues that may occur.
