NW4A Week 5 Schedule...

I wouldn't call a team that beat you on your home floor terrible. That comment just sounds bad. ACHS may very well beat WHS in Feb in Boone, but WHS is playing good basketball.

And for your WHS will lose by 20 to FHS at least, try 11, was tied at the half and within 3 starting the fourth.​

 

Watauga has won a good amount of games and everytime they win they dont get any credit. Its always the other team playing bad and giving the game up. Have you ever thought that Watauga might force teams to play bad or commit stupid turnovers? Just a thought.

 

That's what I was thinking, Watauga is a good team......

For those interested, WC beat North Wilkes(12-4) last night 66-35, North is 3rd place team in the MVAC, WC is second behind Ashe now....we are 14-5.

 

how can you say the confernce is weak freedom
#10 in state alexander and east burke can beat anybody on any night,freedom alaxender,east burke and watauga all have players that will be playing in college next year.you really show what you know about basketball when you come on here and say watauga is no good.you should have been wanting watauga to beat freedom to help alexander out because you will have to have some help because they have beat you once.nw4a has 4 teams that are all good with freedom the head of the class.grow up my friend

 

dude i know more about basketball than you can even imagine. you really won't me to break it down for you ? i guess you do. last year mcdowell was ranked 2nd in the state. Freedom was just as good last year if not better than they are this year. We (AC) beat them twice. East Burke was really good. They went like what, 20-3 in the regular season. East burke beat alexander twice and lost to them in the first round of the tournament. Watauga was good. The kid they had (#10) i cant exactly remember his name but i think it was seth or somethin like that, well he could shoot the lights out. AC Reynolds had that one kid DJ or whoever that averaged like 28 a game. and south caldwell was very physical and i know they played us tough both games. We lost 9 games last year, 5 of them being in the conference. Im not saying its a terrible conference cuz its not. but to think it's as good or tough as it was last year, you're crazy. and No watauga isn't terrible. They're a solid team. Im just sayin, in my opinion, AC is still a better team. but to say that i know nothing about basketball, you need to get real. I'll talk to you about it all day.

 

im a coach ,i coach aau ball in watauga have been coaching the soph now at watauga since they wee 10 years old and we won our share of touneys.so we can talk bball all day but with some of the stuff you but on here just seems you have blinders on,have a nephew in college playing ball seth moore,his dad one of th best players ever at watauga.so we know alittle about the game.but this will be my last post with you about baball.hope ac has a great rest of the season.#10 was zack green and this years team is better than last years team.

 

man, AC kids get a hold of a computer and all hell breaks loose. AC wins a lot of its games because Ed Willis is one hell of a coach, Hargrave is a BEAST and a great kid to boot......but come on AC fans, don't smack talk just support your team win with class and lose with class.

 

Take it easy on jmundy. Not sure whether AC is better than Watauga this year or not BUT there is no doubt the conference was much stronger and much more athletic last year. As he said, McDowell was loaded, East Burke won the regular season, AC was better last year and Freedom was pretty much the same team they are this year. Watauga is probably the only team who is better this year. Not sure about AC Reynolds or South. There's almost no comparison between the level of play last year in the conference and this year.

 

ok how is it when someone says somethin about the game, and i give my opinion, its talking junk ? that makes no sense. anyways. watauga isnt better this year. the conference is just weaker. end of story. but whatever. im just not gonna give my opinions anymore if no one can take it. ford is right. glad someone on here is smart enough to see it. take a poll with all 7 nw4a coaches. see what they say.

 

i cant remeber who won between watauga and AC. and you are saying they are not good when you beat them you can talk junk.
