AC vs Freedom Girls

I thought we showed a lack of class last night putting our starters in the game at the end of the 3rd quarter and then starting them again in the fourth quarter with a 35 point lead. We need to be careful because this game of basketball has a way of humbling us as players, but the game of life has a way of humbling us as people. Remember the old saying of 'what goes around; come arounds."

Enough said!!!

 

That's alright Catman,maybe McDowell will give Freedom a good reason to have the starters in during the 4th quarter next week.

Mcdowell played starters maybe more than FHS did in2nd half last night
In their last game w ACent.
I guess keepin starters and rotations normal was the focus just before the biggest game in NW4A this season was only consideration.

1st off Dribbles I'm not Catman. That would be the Freedom fan that made the post about your coach. I just made a prediction about the McDowell -Freedom game. If that makes me a Hypocrite then so be it.

 

tony...continue 2 c mcdowell ONLY thro ur glasses n everything will b fine. . . .dont know u or dribbles but he has much more validity 2 his post it seems each n every time IMO. . .anyway concerning ur comment-OFCOURSE fhs will b playing starters n the 4th qtr against mcd. . .hope 2 continue 2 read all the positive post that people make concerning local players(including u tony) n teams without all the NEG. First off, I am a true Freedom fan but how did Tony did caught up in the comment that one of our own fans made?

 

Guys its NBD...Tony knew what the post was for---his comment "That's alright Catman,maybe McDowell will give Freedom a good reason to have the starters in during the 4th quarter next week" was a stab at that there wasn't a good reason last Friday to have played starters in 4th Q...i was just pointing out that FHS focus was to prepare for McDowell and not to have the last Q you play before biggest game of season be some non-focused event, where kids are slacking off. That's all- like I said--NO Big Deal.
The team that plays the best 2mar will win, homecourt should be a factor.

 

Went up to McDowell on Friday to watch the McDowell/South game. Went expecting to see a very competitive game, only saw about four competitive minutes. I love Coach Parham and the way that the South girls play, but this night belonged to McDowell. Way too much size and way too much intensity on the defensive end. South would have to make a tremendous amount of perimeter shots to beat McDowell and they did not on Friday. Very impressed with McDowell. I enjoyed watching both the coaches work the sideline in this game. A player would have to be better for playing for either one of these coaches, very intense and their players respond to them.


As for the final score as mentioned earlier, McDowell played alot of subs in the second half. the final score could have been much worse than it was. Nothing unsportsman like in this game. And, although I was not at the Freedom/Alexander game I have seen both teams and I can tell you that the final score in that game could have been much worse also. That is a no win situation for both teams.



Big game tomorrow, McDowell is playing we4ll but I have to give the advantage to Freedom at home in a must win situation.
