Heather Nobles hits first college homerun!

    I spent the weekend watching Pfeiffer University play softball this weekend. Great weather for softball!!! Pfeiffer had a pretty easy time with Salem International (West Virginia) on Friday and Saturday winning all 3 games against them. Chowan University visited Pfeiffer on Sunday for a double header. Pfeiffer won the first game by a score of 2 - 1 and I believe Chowan won the second game. There was some great softball played in the first game with great pitching, timely hitting, and some great plays on defense for both teams.

    Heather Nobles (Freshman/Pfeiffer) played a great third base and hit the ball hard all weekend. Heather played for the Cape Fear Storm and Harnett Central High School. Heather also hit her first college home run this weekend...one of many to come.

    Christy Thomas (Freshman/Pfeiffer) pitched well this weekend and had several hits also. Christy played for the Dominators Gold and Durham Riverside High School.

    Alex Allen (Freshman/Chowan) played a solid center field for Chowan in both games on Sunday. Alex played for the NC Challengers and Clayton High School.
