    No I'm not a "part of west rowan" whatever that means...lol
    I just know they are an excellent team already with good coaching and picked up another excellent player who will make them even better. I don't expect them to finish first in the NPC but I think they will possibly be a surprise challenge for second. I don't have a dog in the fight but I love highschool baseball!

    west rowan mooresville davie county lake norman those are not sleeper teams people know their good just becuase there not suppose to finish #1 a true sleeper( most of you will laugh) ill use npc for a example. south rowan, behind maverick miles and blake houston can suprise a few teams and another statesville high school. they basically combined statesville and west irdell. so they will take a few teams by suprise who take then lightly

    Well it seems the majority have East Rowan winning the NPC with Mooresville 2nd and Lake Norman 3rd. My point is that not only do I think West Rowan will compete for 1st in the NPC but at the state level in May. I'm not gonna get in to nit pickin'. If you don't think West is a sleeper, then so be it. They may not be after this week.

    the issue is the difference in ones definition of what a "sleeper team" really is.

    IMO a sleeper team is a team that no one is talking about. A team that is flying under the radar. West Rowan would not fall into that category. People are talking about them. And many believe they will have a very good year.

    Personally I have always believed it was best to fly under the radar if at all possible. Stay quiet and let your bats , arms and gloves do your talking when it mattered. But hey , thats just me.
