    Tyler Joyner, NN, signed with ECU.
    Williams, NN, signed with UNC-Pembroke
    Allen, Fike, has offers
    Fish, RM, has offers (I think DI)

    Returning Players: Tyler Joyner, Wesley Joyner, Tyler Clark, Mike Williams, Brandon Denton, Steven Moore, & Jordan Smith.
    Key Losses: Justin Shanninghouse, Jeremy Proctor, & Parker Stallinsgs.
    Pitching: Tyler Joyner can shut down anybody!
    Coaching: Eddie Loesner (13-10) in 1st year with Knights.
    Biggest Weakness Last Year: No run support for their pitchers.

    Analysis: If Northern can score more runs for their pitching staff, they should win more games & challenge for 1st place. Weak hitting was a sore spot for Knights last year.

    Returning players: Brad Scott, Dominique Holloway, T.J. Taylor, & Tyler Mizzelle
    Key losses:Alex Pierce (UNC-Pembroke) & Xavier Macklin (N.C. A & T)
    1st Year Coach:Jeff Mizzelle takes over for Chris Huffman.
    Bad News: Did I mention Alex Pierce & Xavier Macklin are gone?

    Analysis: Could be a long, rebuilding year for the Bulldogs. Nash Central has a very young team this year! May play spoiler role.

    Southwest Edgecombe

    How tough is the NEW 6? Southwest Edgecombe has recorded few victories in the NEW 6 since joining. This is a program that was in the 2A State Title Series in 2004 against East Rutherford. Some people are telling me that Southwest hasn't recorded a baseball victory since joining the NEW 6.
    Last Chance: Southwest moves back to 2A after this season.

    Analysis: Nowhere to go but up.

    I think this is the year they win a conference game or two. I know most of the kids, and they have some good players. Not loaded with experienced pitching, and will have to rely on a sophomore or two to go some innings.
    Should be like NC- young- but on a given night- can play with most teams. Thats why you play the game!!

    Watch out for the young left hander!
