Not to sure about your comments of SSS having 2 good players and not much behing them. If you are talking about Parrish (UNC commit) and Brown (NCSU commit) you are right in that they are very good. All others in the conference will be hard pressed to have a better 1 - 4 lineup of Holloman (who may set HR record for school), Brown, Parrish and Noteboom (WCU). Last year SSS hit around 35 HR, no way this team does not scare 40. This team will score. The defense should be the best it has been in 4 years. Pitching will be better than many think. They may or may not win the GNRC, but they are more than a 2 man team.

    Redwolffan...SSS

You are right,SSS should field their best team in years because of the top to bottom talent in the line-up.Anyone who would say we are a 2 man team is obviously ignorant about who will even be playing on our team. But thats ok as we said before we"ll let the final standings speak for themselves.(West Johnston was not even listed in Mr.Smash1 list)

My take on the GNRC in 2009........

    1..tie clayton/sss
    2..holly springs
    4..west johnston
    5..garner
    6..east wake
    7..knightdale
    8..s/e raleigh

Just my opinion, only the final standings matter but part of the pre-season fun is speculating.........
