    northwood has 32 trying out with maybe 1 or 2 that are still playing BBall, not bad for a 2A school!
    First cold, now cold and wet... it truely is softball season!

    I know what you mean. When we started here at HHS, they gave us a football practice field, a few bats, and a couple of balls. But I think you will like what we have done with the place and the team! Sorry to hear about your player as well. Our thoughts are with all of you.

    Had around 40 girls show up on Monday and assigned numbers for tryouts. Coach put up 1st cut list by assigned number on Tuesday morning 8 girls were cut. Tuesday all 8 showed up for tryouts again!

    LOL, would have loved to see the expressions on the coaches faces when those eight showed up for practice....:roflmao::roflmao:

    Sorry, the AD didn't allow us to come back. He did schedule West Iredell, and East Burke though later in the month. I wish we could've or at least went to Freedom or Saint Stephens if that drive was too much....LOL

    No, I will be in Wake Forest at LJVM all weekend for the State wrestling finals. We had 6 to qualify, plus another 3 I work with from other schools.

    bessemer city scrimmages

    hunter huss plays gaston christian at 11am, highland at 1pm and shelby at 3pm

    just look for the old grey headed guy with glasses and a tbr hat at the games, i'll probably be coaching first base if it fancies me.....

    was told of a school that had 40+ girls come out for softball, and the coach fielded a varsity team only??? wish we had that many come out, i sure as heck would have a jv team, wouldnt you????
